How do I get to the club?

Ministry of Sound is easily accessible by public transport or walking.

The club is located close to Elephant & Castle underground station, reached by Northen and Bakerloo lines. Take a left out of the exit for South Bank University and a second left onto Gaunt Street.
Alternatively, there are multiple bus stops near to the club. Please check TFL for full details.

There are also spaces for taxis to pick-up and drop-off close to Ministry of Sound along Gaunt Street.

How do I get home from the club?

Please check TFl for full details on station opening times.
Elephant & Castle station opens around 5:30am on Saturday and 7:00am on Sunday. Night tubes are available from nearby stations, Kennington and Southwark.

Buses run throughout the night and can be picked up from several stops near to the club.

Booked taxis are able to pick up guests close to the entrance of the club.

How do you ensure my safety at the club?

We aim to provide a safe clubbing environment for all our guests. All staff, including security, wear identifiable uniforms and are in multiple positions throughout the club, including a welfare desk.

Upon leaving, we have a designated waiting area opposite the front gate, with a member of staff, where you are able to wait if you would like.

We operate a zero tolerance policy towards unacceptable behaviour to ensure a fun environment for all; If you feel unsafe, please speak to any member of staff for assistance.

What are your opening times?

We are open Friday and Saturday, from 10:00pm to 5:00am, or on Tuesdays from 10.30pm to 4:00am.

What time is last entry?

Last entry on Friday and Saturday nights Is 3:00am, whilst Tuesday nights is 2:00am. There is no re-entry to the club

What is your dress code?

We ask that you arrive smartly dressed to ensure entry. Jeans, t-shirts and branded trainers are fine.
We advise against wearing tracksuits and caps.
Shorts are allowed as long as they are smart (no tracksuit style or sports shorts).

Where can I buy tickets?

You can purchase tickets via our tickets page but selected tickets may be available on the door.

How do I book table service?

This can be booked on our table service page.

You can also do so via email to tableservice@ministryofsound.com.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No, in fact we would prefer it if you didn’t. Simply show us your e-ticket on arrival.

Printed tickets will still be accepted if you do not have access to a phone.

Will I be asked for ID?

All guests will be asked to provide ID before entry into the venue. Please be prepared to prove your age at any time with valid identification.

If you are attending a student night, please ensure you have a valid form of student ID.

We only accept a UK photocard driving licence, government issued passport, or PASS identification card bearing the PASS hologram. In conjunction with local authority guidance, we operate an ID seizure policy whereby any false ID will be confiscated and handed over to the police.

Can I request a refund on my ticket?

Prepaid tickets & packages are sold on a non-refundable basis.

If you know in advance that you are unable to attend an event, please contact us at least 48 hours before the event and we may be able to transfer your ticket to another event.

If this is not possible, your request will be passed on to management.

We do not issue refunds for entry refusals, or ejections from the venue.

Will I be searched?

We sometimes operate a random search policy, in the interest of customer safety.

This may be implemented due to the type of event, risk assessment or advisal from the police. If you refuse to be searched, you will be refused entry.

We operate a zero-tolerance policy on drugs, and anyone suspected of taking or dealing drugs will be searched and ejected from the venue. If you are found with drugs on your person, you will be detained and reported to the police.

What do I do if I’ve left an item in the club?

If an item is found in the club or left in the cloakroom, we’ll endeavour to store the item for a maximum of 30 days.

If you have lost an item, please email us INFO@MINISTRYOFSOUND.COM with as much detail about the item as possible, where it was left (if you’re aware) and when. We will then work to see if we can find the specified item for you.

Do you have any student offers?

Discounted student tickets and student nights are displayed on our TICKET page.

Please ensure you bring a valid student ID if you are attending one of these events. If you do not, you will have to pay standard general admission price.

Do you have disabled access?

Yes, the ground floor of our venue is fully accesible. Please read our ACCESS GUIDE for further information.

Can I hire the club for private events?

Can I take photos in the club?

All personal photos are fine but we do not allow any professional photography during club events. Anyone found doing so without prior permission may have their property confiscated.

There may be promotional and/or commercial photography, video and/or audio recording during events. By attending an event, you consent to the filming and recording of your likeness for use by Ministry of Sound, for any and all purposes in all media.
